可口可乐营销顾问驾临澳洲分舵，他发现销售版图上的一处巨大空白：当地有个老头用自己发明的“非常可乐”垄断该区域数十年，可口、百事都不是对手。当他兴师动众想把老头format的同时，他的澳洲秘书也正率领着女儿，向他发起爱情总攻。每个人物都举止乖张，但并不过火。男主角艾瑞克·罗伯茨是朱丽娅·罗伯茨的亲哥，公认的演技高手，成名比妹妹早得多，可惜后来接过太多烂戏。女主角格瑞塔·斯卡奇曾被誉为“英国电影的一个奇迹”，二人的对手戏很耐看。

The Coca-Cola Kid is a 1985 Australian romantic comedy film. It was directed by Dušan Makavejev and stars Eric Roberts and Greta Scacchi. The film is based on the short stories “The Americans, Baby”, and “The Electrical Experience” by Frank Moorhouse, who wrote the screenplay. It was entered into the 1985 Cannes Film Festival.[3]
